Hiring a generalist to join Kiki in the early days and help us change how the world lives
Who are we looking for?
- Someone hungry to be a part of something from the very early stages and have a huge amount of accountability where they can see direct impact from their work rather than just being a cog in some big machine.
- Have shown they go above and beyond in the past (either in previous jobs, side projects or playing sport at a high level).
- Unrelenting focus and have the ability to go all in on something they’re really passionate about.
- Mission-driven, they will be the foundations of building something that could change the way the world lives.
- Putting the customer first is a big part of our culture. Doing mundane unscalable things so that we build the foundations on customer love and appreciation.
- Ability to build relationships with people online as well as in person. You’ll be talking to users all day so need to have strong people skills.
- 80% of our current users are women, so someone who is able to build strong connections and a safe environment for everyone in Kiki.
What will you be doing?
They’ll be talking to our users everyday, on Instagram, FaceTime and coffees to try to match up as many people as possible looking for homes and going away to get Kiki closer to achieving PMF (product market fit) in NYC.
- You’ll be working side by side with Toby (founder), and together you’ll be responsible for communication with users, matches, and growth.
- We communicate with all our users on instagram, doing customer service, socials (don’t worry you won’t have to make any content) and relationship building. We deal with a lot of time sensitive instagram messages as people are moving in and out of apartments at all times of the day so you’ll need to be on hand to reply to these.
- Meet users for FaceTimes and coffees everyday, in order to build relationships and ensure we’re maintaining a high quality bar for who we let onto the platform.
- You’ll be managing the whole marketplace and will need to be across many facets of the business.
- Your role will evolve and grow drastically over time as we transition from all focus getting PMF to how do we scale this.
Salary Range
The pay range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 per year. This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
