THE ROLE
Insomniac Events is currently seeking candidates for a Human Resources Intern. This position will provide direct support to the Human Resources team. This is a paid internship and is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gain knowledge of corporate special event management and activity coordination, working alongside internal staff
- Gain knowledge of corporate lunch and activity coordination
- Research event venue locations for corporate sponsored events
- Maintain annual social event budget and forecast with provided agendas when applicable
- Constant exercise of project management skills with following corporate events
- Brainstorm employee engagement opportunities
- Shadow professional development and training opportunities related to time keeping & payroll, HRIS, recruiting & onboarding, employment law, employee relations, production HR, training & development, benefits
- Brainstorm company-wide announcements and templates
- Other tasks and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school
- Must be able to work out of Calabasas, CA office at least two days a week
- Typical commitment is 10-24 hours per week
- Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude
- Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
- Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands
