Project Invent is a national nonprofit that empowers middle and high school students to invent technologies for social good. With a focus on underserved schools and communities, we recruit and train educators through a yearlong program in design thinking, engineering, and entrepreneurship to lead students in inventing technology solutions to a real problem in their community. Students have built smart belts to help the blind cross the street, devices that limit carbon emissions from local buses. Annually, Project Invent serves approximately 2,000+ students, 100+ trained educators, and sparks 100+ student inventions in 20+ states across the United States.
