Business Development Representative - Early Career

As a member of our Business Development team, you will become part of Figma's collaborative Sales team, contributing to our growth and success. Playing a pivotal role in our expanding Business Development team, your responsibilities will focus on prospecting new accounts and collaborating with Account Executives to establish customer relationships. Your contributions will be essential in refining Figma's business development strategies, playbooks, and outbound processes. The ideal candidate for this role possesses an agile and adaptable mindset, values teamwork, and enjoys engaging with our diverse customer base. You’ll also get a chance to work closely with various departments, including peer Sales teams, Sales Operations & Enablement, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, and Community. 

This full-time role is available at one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma:

  • Proactively generate interest in Figma’s platform within the target accounts to develop a robust sales pipeline
  • Identify potential prospects by analyzing market data, firmographic information, and product-related cues
  • Create and enhance prospect messaging to optimize engagement and conversion
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of prospecting processes for all sales teams at Figma

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Track record of consistently meeting and surpassing performance metrics
  • Strong motivation to excel in a fast-paced work environment with a direct impact on business process enhancement during expansion
  • Proficient organizational and time-management abilities, essential for managing a large number of prospects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for a sales career
  • Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to initiate tasks independently and adapt swiftly to feedback
  • Inherent curiosity and a commitment to ongoing learning

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Sales prospecting experience, preferably in the SaaS industry

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the hourly base pay range stated below.  

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.
